“How's the work going?”

The question every owner abroad asks about the building or flat back home

You transfer the payment and wait for news. You get “all good” and a few photos taken from a distance. You can't tell whether the waterproofing was done properly before it was covered, or whether the tiles are the ones you chose.

We send an engineer to your site who is independent of your contractor. They inspect, photograph from the same angles every visit, compare the work with what you agreed, and send you a signed report in plain language.

So when you ask “how's the work going?”, the answer comes with photos and dates. Rest easy: the work is راكز وماكن, solid and steady.

What you usually get

  • “Everything's fine” on the phone
  • Photos with no date or location
  • You find the problem after the wall is closed
  • Everyone tells a different story

What you get from us

  • A signed report after every visit
  • Dated photos and video from the same angles
  • Issues raised before work is covered, with the correct method
  • A clear issue log, tracked until every item is closed

FAQ

Common questions

What is the difference between site monitoring and full supervision?

With monitoring, the engineer inspects the site every two weeks or monthly, records what they find, compares it with your specification and gives the contractor technical direction on quality. With full supervision, the partner office signs off every work item, approves materials and carries out testing, and you contract with them directly.

Does the engineer talk to the contractor?

Yes. They give notes and technical direction on quality and workmanship, and every instruction is recorded in the report with the contractor's response. Quantities, prices, timing and payments remain your decisions. We monitor and give technical direction; we don't manage your contractor.

What language are the reports in?

Reports are issued in Arabic, the language used on site and with your contractor. If you prefer English, we send an English summary of each report on Messenger and answer your questions in English.

How do I see the photos and video?

The report reaches you on Messenger with a short summary. Photos and video sit in a private archive for your project on Google Drive, which you open with your own Google account. We keep the archive for 12 months after handover and give you a month's notice so you can download it.

What happens if the engineer finds a serious problem?

We tell you about any safety or structural issue on the day of the visit, without waiting for the report.

Who lets the engineer onto the site?

You arrange access: a key, or the contractor being present on working days. You also let the contractor know that an engineer will visit regularly.

How do I pay?

A monthly subscription, paid online in advance. You can pause or stop with 7 days' notice.

Do you work outside Damascus?

For now we cover Damascus and Rif Dimashq, and we are preparing other governorates. Leave your details and we'll add you to the waiting list for your city.

Do you design, price work or find contractors?

No. We don't design, prepare bills of quantities or cost estimates, find contractors or hold any money. If you need design or full supervision, we can put you in touch with our partner office.
